The welcome was very personal – we received an explanation of the apartment, welcome drink and biscuits… The apartment is equipped with personal details and many lovely elements. Everything was neat and clean. Even basic foods and drinks were available. Everything was well prepared. There was also a parking space, which we did not use. The property is also easily accessible by public transportation if you use the parking available on the outskirts.

A fabulous apartment in a quiet location, yet only a 3-minute walk away from the old town. It is perfect! Delicious homemade jam, fresh fruit and local beers waiting for us in the fridge were a really nice welcoming touch upon our arrival. Be sure to visit the open air central market in Ljubljana on Saturday. There are lots of chefs preparing amazing food! Make sure to take advantage of the free walking tour of the city, it is excellent! This was a perfect base for visiting the beautiful Lake Bled – approximately 45 minutes away by car – or for a day trip to Piran on the Slovenian coast!

We had a lovely stay at the UpArt apartment in Ljubljana. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s located walking distance from the Old Town and is very quiet.
The kitchen has all the appliances and equipment you could wish for and is well taken care of. The only downside we found was that it’s quite a bit smaller than we expected from the pictures. Other than that, the UpArt is the perfect place for a stay in Ljubljana.

“We turned the key and entered a fairytale!”
Dear friends, hello!
So it’s time to share with you our impressions of the Studio Apartment Apartment UpArt in Ljubljana. At the moment, this is the best hotel/apartment in which we were lucky enough to live for several unforgettable days! We could not even imagine that this was possible! Almost a month has passed, and memories only reinforce our positive emotions! So, proceed to the story.
I take my time deciding which hotel to pick and do it meticulously. The old town itself is small in Ljubljana. The streets are always crowded with pedestrians and there is a lot of noise. I wanted to live in a place that wasn’t too crowded, but also not far from the city center. As it turns out, Ulica Stare Pravde is located perfectly, close to all the attractions and in a very quiet place, regardless of the fact that the cathedral is located nearby, and in which from time to time there’s a bell ringing! Unlike in Zagreb, the ringing of the bells here did not wake us daily with a merciless loud noise at 6 AM.
The view from the window was just awesome too! The apartment is located on the 3rd floor, just above the apartment owners. They are beautiful people. The hostess, a young sporty-looking woman, jumped to our 20 kg suitcase and almost took off running up the stairs, saying that our second suitcase would be picked up straight after. I picked it up myself, but if that would prove difficult for someone, the owners will carry their suitcases to their floor. The hostess and her husband are both athletes! However, all the fun was actually waiting for us inside the apartment. Once we turned the key, we entered … a fairy tale! I can’t even find the words to express our delight at getting to see our cozy apartment for the first time. When I was choosing a hotel on Booking, I really liked the decoration of the apartment and the fact that it looked like it had all we could need. Even so, the beauty we saw in person was not noticeable in the pictures. Generally speaking, though, photography cannot convey emotions, it only showcases facts.

Nice facilities and extras provided by hosts – cereal, honey, spices, washing liquid… The wifi in the apartment is good, it has an excellent location, near the main square. It got very bright in the morning as there were no blinds. The shower was also quite small. The triangular ceiling is very close to the bed so be careful when getting up!

“You will find everything you could need.”
We had a great stay! Everything was there and the owner was very caring with her guests. We were welcomed with a basket of fruit, champagne, absolutely nothing was lacking. Good breakfast (coffee, tea and cornflakes..) The owner thought of everything you would need for 4 days (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper etc.) We even had umbrellas which is not the case in all countries. We were also able to do laundry and had products for washing. You will find everything you could need in this apartment. The owner was outstanding and if you go there with your eyes closed you will not be disappointed.

The bed was comfortable and the apartment was incredibly well-appointed, with everything to make me feel at home during my time in Ljubljana. It had a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen and a hairdryer. It is full of beautiful natural light and is in a quiet street just a few minutes away from the river on foot. The owner was so lovely and even brought me a special cake from the Lake region to enjoy during my stay. It was so lovely that I was sad to leave. “Perfect space and personal touches.”
The space and personal touches in the apartment were wonderful. I would maybe advise the person who is renting the apartment to bring coffee and tea if they want to make some at the apartment. The low ceiling in the bedroom took some getting used to but the bathroom was absolutely perfect for the space. The team’s responses were quick prior to check-in, but perhaps a little slower for the check-out. It was fine when I used the cell phone, though.
