Open plan living room with lounge and dining area
The apartment is extremely comfortable for up to six people, with 145m² of floor space, and a further 10m² balcony. Two enormous bedrooms and two bathrooms provide ample space for two couples or a family, and one of the sofas can be transformed into a double bed for a further two guests. The huge open plan living room features a sitting area with two large sofas, and a fantastic kitchen with dining area.
Full story
Boasting an unbeatable central location in the heart of Ljubljana’s old town, you couldn’t be better placed for exploring the city. But the apartment’s location isn’t the only extraordinary feature. Equally impressive is the size and quality of the apartment. Extending over 145m², all the rooms are sizable, including the vast hallway that leads to the bedrooms.

Enter the flat into a large hall
The ambience and furnishings throughout are fairly traditional, with rugs scattered over wooden parquet floors and classic furniture and pictures. The overwhelming impression, however, is of a bright sunny apartment, thanks to the light that streams through huge windows in each of the rooms. The heart of the apartment is the open plan living room which provides ample space for its lounge, dining area and kitchen. The lounge has two sofas, one convertible to a double bed, several cupboards and a large flat screen TV.

Utility area with washing machine and dryer
Enjoy home from home comfort in the fully equipped kitchen, guaranteed to add a touch of indulgence to your stay, and linger over leisurely dinners at the elegant dining table for six. A separate utility room houses a brand new Bosch washing machine and dryer. Both bedrooms and the two bathrooms – one with a slipper bath – are accessed from the wide hallway.
Set on the second floor of the apartment building, guests have use of a lift. Other amenities include optic Wi-fi. You will be greeted and shown around the apartment on arrival by an FLA agent.
Bright spacious living room

Plenty of space to relax in the living room
With huge, draped windows and two comfortable sofas, the spacious living room is the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day in front of the smart TV. One of the sofas is brand new and converts easily to a double sofa bed (160 x 200) with a proper mattress.
Home from home kitchen comfort
You’ll find plenty of worktop space and every appliance you need in the large kitchen which is fully equipped with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge freezer. Smaller appliances include a toaster, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There is also ample storage space and shelving.

Elegant dining area
The beauty of self-catering is the freedom to dine in when you’ve had a busy day. And when the kitchen area and dining space is this comfortable, it’s even more tempting!

Bathrooms
The apartment features two bathrooms, one extremely luxurious, the second more functional.

Luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower and slipper bath

Masses of space for sink unit, towel rail, toilet and bidet
Bathroom 1: You’ll love luxuriating in this bathroom at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The apartment owners have made full use of its size and included a modern walk-in shower cabinet, toilet, sink, bidet and a gorgeous slipper bath.

Smaller second bathroom with walk-in shower
Bathroom 2: The smaller of the two bathrooms offers functional comfort with a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and towel rail.
Huge double bedrooms
The two double bedrooms are similar in size with high ceilings and magnificent windows equipped with electric blinds.

Bedroom 1 with large windows and ample storage space

Bedroom 1 with an added baby cot
Both rooms are comfortably furnished, featuring masses of storage space in huge built-in wardrobes. The bed in one of the bedrooms is slightly larger (180 x 200m² compared to 160 x 200m²).

Bedroom 2 is equally spacious and similarly furnished.
We added a two-tier extendable bed and an extendable couch for extra sleeping arrangements. For your youngest ones we provide a baby cot, so that your whole family can get a good night’s sleep.

There’s a children’s bed that can sleep two when extended, or it can be used as a sofa when not in use.

Balcony

Private balcony that faces the inner courtyard
A balcony provides a welcome outdoor area and adds light to the apartment. If you’re a smoker you’ll be pleased to know that the balcony itself is smoker friendly.
Location location location
Planning to arrive by train? The apartment is just 10 minutes’ walk from the main train station. If, however, you’re arriving by car, the nearest car park (payment required) is 50m from the apartment.

Once you’ve settled in, you’ll be eager to step out to explore. Vibrant Trubarjeva Street, one of the city’s oldest pedestrian streets, is just a short walk away and an excellent introduction to the boutiques and eateries that characterize the area. You can easily stock up on essentials in the local shops, but for something a little different, pop over to the Central Market which hosts an organic market on Wednesdays. The Market also runs an open kitchen event every Friday between March and October. What better opportunity to see – and taste – what the best Slovenian chefs are cooking!

You may want to pop over to boutique bakery Pekarna Ana for your bread in the mornings. Established by chef Ana Roš who is best known for her Hiša Franko restaurant in Kobarid and the only Slovenian winner of two Michelin stars, you’ll find bread and patisserie enhanced by the very best seasonal Slovene produce.

In fact, Ljubljana’s burgeoning foodie scene will leave you completely spoilt for choice. Take your pick from falafel (Abi Falafel), Indian tandoori (Namaste) or a traditional Slovenian burek – although you’ll also find pastries, ice cream, vegan restaurants, and pizza and pasta places. Linger over a morning coffee by the river at Cacao or grab a burger at Hood Burger, just 4 minutes from the apartment. For a particularly memorable experience, the Michelin recommended JB restaurant is just 5 minutes’ away on foot.
If you’re visiting Ljubljana with your family, you’ll appreciate the proximity to Miklošičev park, just 50m from the apartment. For more green space, Tivoli Park in the center of the city extends over around 5km² and is Ljubljana’s largest park, offering a magnificent expanse of chestnut tree-lined walks and ornamental flower beds. From here, several walking paths connect to the slopes of the Rožnik hill.
When you’re ready to explore further, head for one of the superb museums and galleries – perhaps the National Museum of Slovenia or the Museum of Modern Art Ljubljana – or enjoy a more alternative experience at Metelkova City. For the best views of the castle and city, head to the Nebotičnik Skyscraper.
