The apartment is hard to beat when it comes to location. Just a short stroll from Dragon Bridge and the Old Town, it’s brilliantly situated when it comes to sightseeing. Despite its proximity to the heart of Ljubljana, it’s in a peaceful spot in one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods, and close to several popular green spaces and parks. In fact, the apartment is an ideal choice for families, partly for the nearby parks but also because the large communal courtyard offers somewhere for the kids to play at the end of a busy day.
Set on the first floor of an established building with traditionally thick walls, the apartment has been decorated and furnished in a contemporary style, providing comfortable accommodation for up to four people. In addition to a large open plan living space, with living room, dining area and kitchen, there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Extending over 74m², the fully modernised first floor apartment is set in an established building with thick walls that provide additional insulation during the colder months, and attractive windows. With parquet flooring throughout the apartment and fresh brightly painted walls, the apartment has been furnished in a style that is both functional and appealing.
Two bedrooms, each with queen size beds, means that the apartment works well for families or two couples, and there’s a spacious modern bathroom with a washing machine. The open plan living room comprises a pleasant area for relaxing, a dining table that comfortably seats 6, and a compact but well equipped kitchen. The traditional furnace in the corner of the kitchen is no longer functioning but adds both charm and character to the apartment.

Air conditioning is available throughout the apartment, and you’ll find plenty of storage space throughout.
A hall cupboard is ideal for shoes and coats, and both bedrooms are furnished with wardrobes. The apartment also has Wi-fi.
The icing on the cake is the outdoor space. The enclosed communal courtyard is scattered with tables and chairs and is a delightful spot for alfresco breakfasts or a pre-dinner drink at the end of the day. It’s also great for storing bikes should you decide to explore the city on rental bikes. In addition to the courtyard, the apartment has a street facing balcony, accessible from the living room, where you can enjoy meals.
For guests arriving by car, please note that there is no private parking, but street or garage parking is available for a fee.

The fully modernised kitchen sits in one corner of the living space. A striking traditional furnace is no longer functional but serves as a decorative element amidst the otherwise contemporary style.

Despite the great selection of local restaurants and bistros, the designated dining area provides a pleasant space to eat on those evenings when you prefer to dine in the apartment.
The attractive dining table, with 6 comfy chairs, sits alongside the kitchen, well-lit by a pretty, recessed window. There’s a cupboard to one side of the table for all your crockery and dishes.

Bathroom
Families with young children will love the elegantly tiled bathroom and the large bath is guaranteed to be a hit when it comes to bath time for the little ones. The bathroom also has a shower, basin with cupboard unit, toilet, hairdryer and towel rail. The washing machine is in the bathroom.

Location

Amazing quiet central neighbourhood by the river
The apartment is in Petkovškovo nabrežje, an attractive neighborhood on the fringes of Ljubljana’s historic center. The area is best known for the former Rog factory which produced the iconic Rog bicycles. The building remains an important part of 20th century industrial heritage in Ljubljana and is currently being restored and transformed into a public cultural and creative space. Nearby, the Cukrarna Gallery, a 19th century former sugar factory, is now dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art.
With the river close by, you can walk to the iconic art nouveau Dragon Bridge, to Central Market to stock up on groceries, and, of course, to the Castle. Take time to explore the city leisurely, taking in the architecture or simply people watching at an outdoor café.

A plethora of amazing dining experiences are located withing walking distance from the apartment
When it comes to eating out, you’ll find many of the city’s top restaurants and informal eateries within walking distance. Wander along to EK Bistro for a special brunch with river views and feast on savory pancakes and other brunch favorites. Try Verace for pizza or Hiša pod Gradom for more traditional fare. Even closer to home, Kavarna Rog offers a wide range of food and drinks throughout the day, from brunch classics to wine and tapas in the evening.
If you’re holidaying with children, or just enjoy being outdoors, head for one of the local parks. Choose between Kodeljevo Park which has large open spaces and playgrounds, and the better known Tivoli Park. Around 15 minutes’ walk from the apartment, the latter is Ljubljana’s grandest park, an area of five square kilometers of ornamental flower beds, statues, fountains and chestnut tree lined walks.
