This one bedroom apartment is an excellent choice for couples looking for a base for their vacation at Lake Bled. Compact but well equipped, the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and restful stay. The top spot is the fabulous balcony, but inside, bright rooms are attractively furnished with good quality materials and amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher and large flat screen TV. You’ll also find plenty of storage space, fast and stable optic internet connection and 2 car parking spots in the underground garage. This can be accessed directly by lift from your apartment floor.

Charming view from the living area
Situated on the 2nd of 3 floors of an attractive building that bears all the hallmarks of a traditional style, the apartment is perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing vacation in one of Slovenia’s most popular natural spots. Best of all, when you’re not out and about, you can chill on the balcony and enjoy the spectacular views across the neighboring rooftops towards the magnificent Julian Alps.
Extending over 45m², the compact apartment is well designed and practical. With one bedroom and bathroom, it is ideal for a couple or two friends but also an excellent option for business travelers to Ljubljana who may be keen to explore more of the country.
Offering more flexibility and freedom than hotel accommodation, the apartment is well equipped with a range of amenities designed to add both practicality and a touch of luxury. Blinds on windows, a large flat screen TV with 120+ channels, a fast and stable optic internet connection and efficient central heating – including underfloor heating in the bathroom – will ensure a comfortable stay.

Enjoy breakfast on the balcony
You’ll find a well equipped kitchen with a range of appliances, a washing machine, and iron and ironing board. Naturally, towels and linen are included, and we’ll also provide a starter pack of shower gel and soap as well as kitchen essentials including oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets.
Despite the compact size of the apartment, it provides ample storage space in the bedroom and the hall in addition to a storage option in the basement. You’ll also have access to two private parking spots in the underground garage which can be accessed by lift from the apartment floor. A remote key will be provided at check in.
Extra features include a private parking spot for one car and an attractive terrace. The parking spot is in the underground garage in the basement of the building, a bonus if you are arriving by car and want to explore the beautiful countryside around Ljubljana. The garage can be accessed with a remote key that will be handed over at check-in, with the same key providing access to the building and its common areas. For your additional convenience, an elevator leads directly from the garage to the apartment floor. Step straight from the living room on to the terrace, a wonderful space for your early morning coffee or leisurely al fresco dinners as the sun goes down.

At the opposite end of the living room to the kitchen, doors lead out to a superb terrace, a lovely spot to linger over a coffee or meals on warmer days. The covered terrace is equipped with handy cupboards and furnished with a comfy sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table.

Compact but featuring everything you need for a relaxing stay, the kitchen forms part of the open plan living space. Appliances includes a dishwasher, 2 ring hob, fridge freezer, toaster, coffee machine and microwave. Essential items such as oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and washing up liquid are provided.
One of the biggest advantages of self-catering is the freedom to eat in when you feel like it. Enjoy leisurely meals at the dining table in the open plan living room or outside on the balcony.

There is a large storage room available for you in the basement of the building – ideal if you’re visiting Lake Bled with bikes, or if you just need some extra room.
Close to restaurants, shops and Lake Bled
The apartment is just a short stroll to the shops and choice of restaurants in Lake Bled. Restaurants such as Spica Bar and Restaurant, and Sova Restaurant offer traditional Slovene dishes, or there’s a pizzeria (Pizzeria Rustika) or steakhouse (Steakhouse Berc).
It is just 700m from the apartment to the shores of Lake Bled. If you’re feeling energetic, you may want to try the full 6km circuit of the lake which takes around an hour and a half – although longer if you find it hard to resist lingering over some of the breathtaking views along the way! You may even come across a pretty swimming spot. The west side of the lake gives the best views of Bled Island, and the trees provide protection against any traffic noise, but head to the south side of the lake for the best views of Bled Castle.

If you’re a keen hiker, a hike to Mala Osojnica provides some of the best aerial views of Lake Bled. Although not long (around 45-60 minutes there and back), the hike is a little more strenuous and includes short stretches of wooden steps and a trail using chains. You can also get stunning views of the lake from Ojstrica, one of the quicker walks to viewpoints above the lake. The start of the trails to Ojstrica and Osojnica are indicated with small green signs.
Take a trip too to the instantly recognizable Bled Island, set in the heart of the lake. Most visitors access the island by way of the Pletna boat, a large gondola-like shaded rowing boat which departs from the shores of Lake Bled at regular intervals during the day. The journey takes about 20 minutes. It’s also possible to rent a rowing boat. A wide range of other water sports are available on Lake Bled, including paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing, and paragliding.

Naturally, you’ll want to visit Bled Castle! This 1000 year old castle is the oldest castle in Slovenia. If you time your visit to coincide with lunch or dinner, you can have a meal with a fantastic view at the Bled Castle Restaurant.
A brief 10 minute drive to the north west of the center of Lake Bled, you’ll find Vintgar Gorge, a spectacular 1.6km long, 250m deep gorge along the Radovna River in the eastern part of the Triglav National Park. Or, for more lakeside leisure, head west to Lake Bohinj, a quieter but equally beautiful option.
