This lovely 1-bedroom apartment is located in Trnovo, an attractive neighborhood just beyond Ljubljana’s historic center. The location is very convenient and the apartment has a great advantage of its very own parking space.

Children (and adults!) have plenty of options for enjoying the outdoor green spaces and it is still only fifteen minute’s walk to the Shoemaker’s Bridge, the center of the Old Town Ljubljana. My family would enjoy staying here and I think yours would, too.

One-Bedroom Apartment At Ziherlova 40D At Home In The Neighborhood

The apartment would also be perfect for a group of up to four adults with the bedroom and full-size sofa bed in the living area.

The neighborhood and the building itself are both historically interesting and provide a quiet, peaceful place to stay with good restaurants and other amenities nearby. It is just a short walk to the Trnovo Quay, a pleasant riverside park that was recently renovated.

There is a playground just across the street, as well as a sports center Trnovo with a gym, personal trainers, tennis, basketball, soccer, and even more recreational activities on offer. Sports equipment (tennis racquets, etc.) is available for rent here, too.

Getting Here
“Pull right into your own parking space!”

Nothing could be simpler than just driving right in and parking so that you can get on with the fun of exploring Ljubljana. If you are coming by car you can simply follow the map or GPS to this location and pull right in.

Our greeter will meet you and set you up with the pass to the private, gated parking lot so that you are free to come and go as you please.

Of course, even if you are not traveling by car it is simple to get here with public transport, or you can contact us and we can arrange any transport services you may need (from the train station, airport, etc.), in addition to helping with your luggage and any other arrival concerns you may have. Just let me know in advance what you will need.

“Come in and stay a while.”

You come in through the individual entrance to this section of the building and go up one flight of stairs. Then you find yourself in a central hallway with a closet, a mirror, and a bench to sit on for changing shoes. Doorways lead from here to every other room of the apartment and offer plenty of natural light.

“Bright and Breezy”

This cheerful space contains the kitchen, dining table, a couch that folds out into a full bed, and the door to the balcony.

The balcony looks over the large central courtyard with its sculpted gardens and paths, where other neighbors in the complex enjoy growing potted flowers or just sitting and relaxing on their own balconies and terraces. This is a great place to have a drink and put your feet up while the children explore the courtyard below. You can easily keep an eye on them.

The couch in the living area folds out into a double bed, and a baby crib can also be set up here if you need one. During the day it is a nice place to hang out and chat with whoever is cooking that day.

If you prefer to eat out, there is a well-regarded restaurant with traditional food just around the corner called Pod vrbo (“Under the Willow”). Trnovo also has several other hip and trendy cafes and restaurants, all within a few minutes’ walk, such as Manna, Pri Škofu, Trnovski zvon, Franc Jakob (Slovenian cuisine) and other.

For those who feel like staying in and cooking, the full kitchen provides everything you need, including a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and kettle.

As with all Fine Ljubljana Apartments, cooking basics such as oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, and tea are already here, in addition to quality cookware, tools, flatware and dishes. And of course it’s all spotlessly clean.

“Tranquil and Soothing”

This room not only contains a queen-size bed, it also features a comfortable chair by the window. I could imagine sitting here and reading a good book with a cup of tea, or perhaps watching the news. The crisp, quality linens will make going to bed a pleasure.

Our one-bedroom Ljubljana apartment on Ziherlova street 40d is available for short term rentals. Minimum stay is <strong>2 nights</strong> but this can vary between seasons. Here are the rates for two persons per night.
