Its position close to the city’s historic center and its laptop-friendly workspace area also make it ideal for corporate travelers.

Young families can take advantage of nearby Kodeljevo Park, local bike hire and an outdoor courtyard with a table and chairs for al fresco breakfasts.

The newly renovated ground-floor apartment has a good solid feel, with thick walls and high-quality windows that ensure guests enjoy a peaceful stay. Filled with natural light and very spacious, the bright modern interiors have been designed to provide ample living and storage space.

Extending over 74 m², this contemporary apartment is situated on the ground floor of the building. With one bedroom, a beautiful modern bathroom, a large lounge and dining area, and a separate newly renovated kitchen, the apartment provides a high level of comfort in a great location in Ljubljana.

Outside, a communal courtyard is equipped with a table and chairs and is a lovely spot to breakfast outdoors or enjoy a quiet drink at the end of the day. It’s also the ideal spot for young children to play outdoors under the watchful eye of their parents.

The apartment layout is simple but functional. Enter directly into the well-equipped kitchen with the living/dining room on the right. The bathroom is straight ahead on the left and the bedroom on the right.

Please note there is no private parking although street parking is available.

Amazing quiet central neighbourhood by the river

The apartment is located in the sought-after central neighborhood, just outside the historic center of Ljubljana. Despite its proximity to many of the city’s main attractions, it’s situated in a quiet spot that’s within easy reach of several cafés and restaurants, including Verace (pizzas), Hiša pod Gradom and EK Bistro. Better still, on the days you don’t feel like cooking, next door Kavarna Rog is a must, offering everything from morning coffees and wine to tapas and a daily changing menu.

For fresh air and open space, head to Kodeljevo Park with its playgrounds and large open spaces, around 15 minutes’ away, or to Tivoli Park. This is a little further away but, covering around 5 square kilometers (almost 2 square miles), it is one of Ljubljana’s largest and most beautiful parks with ornamental flower beds, statues, fountains, and chestnut tree-lined walks.

Just a few minutes from the apartment, the Rog factory, which produced the famous Rog bicycles until 1991, is one of the most important pieces of 20th century industrial heritage in Ljubljana. The iconic building is currently being restored to serve as a public space. Another special local venue is Cukrarna, a former 19th century sugar factory that has been converted to a large gallery space.

Highlights in Ljubljana’s historic center include the Central Market and the iconic art nouveau Dragon Bridge while the city’s much celebrated Castle stands on a hill above the city offering some spectacular views. But there’s much to be gained from simply strolling and gazing up at its magnificent architecture or soaking up the atmosphere in an outdoor café. Alternatively, hire a bike to explore the city which has a reputation for being extremely cyclist-friendly – you can safely store your bikes in the courtyard when you’re not using them.

Kitchen

Enter the apartment directly into the gleaming contemporary white kitchen which has counters on both sides and plenty of work surfaces and storage space. It’s fully equipped with everything you need from cooking utensils to crockery, and wine glasses to recycling bins.

Main appliances include an oven, gas stove with fan, fridge with freezer drawer, dishwasher, kettle, hand blender and scales. There are even food essentials (oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.), dishwasher tablets, and soap so you don’t need to worry about stocking up on basics if you’re only staying for a short time.

Living area

The large light-filled living room provides ample space for a family of four or group of friends. With a big sofa and two comfortable armchairs, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

A beautiful dining table for six sits at one side of the room and in one corner, a practical laptop-friendly workspace is a pleasant spot to work if you’re staying as a corporate traveler. The apartment is equipped with fast Wi-Fi.

Our rental apartment on Petkovškovo nabrežje 67 in Ljubljana is available for short- and mid-term rentals. Minimum stay is 2 nights but that can also vary between seasons. Here are rates for two persons per night.
