For anyone keen to explore Slovenia’s cycle paths on their own bike, the building also has a well-maintained bike storage area.

The highlight of the apartment is without doubt its superb main terrace, furnished with a table and chairs and offering glorious views. Meanwhile, step inside into a world of spacious interiors and high quality fixtures and fittings and you can be guaranteed of a very comfortable stay.

Open plan living space is flooded with natural light
With a generous floor space of 60m², the apartment is on the third floor of a building, with a lift. If arriving by car, enjoy the luxury of putting your car in the private secure garage provided. Cycling enthusiasts can take advantage of the well-kept bike storage facility.
The apartment comprises one bedroom and bathroom, and a large open plan living area with a modern kitchen, dining area and lounge space. Beautifully designed, and with excellent attention to detail, the apartment combines practical living with designer touches. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property and air conditioning is available in the living area.

Top spot is the main terrace, accessed from the living room, where you can enjoy leisurely al fresco breakfasts or an evening aperitivo as you watch the city lights go down over Ljubljana.

The beautifully designed open plan living space is fitted with designer lighting, polished wood flooring and filled with natural light. At one end of the room, floor to ceiling sliding windows lead out on to the terrace. A second glass door, set alongside the sofa, gives access to a narrow terrace that runs the length of the room. Both windows are fitted with electric blinds.

At the other end of the room, a large luxurious sofa provides ample space to stretch out and relax at the end of the day.
For corporate travelers, a desk and chair that faces out to the terrace provides a quiet spot to catch up on work.
Kitchen and Diner
The spacious kitchen is superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a SMEG oven and several Bosch appliances. Cupboards are custom made and provide ample storage space.
In addition to the table and chairs on the terrace, the open plan living room has an elegant wooden table and chairs for dining.

Bedroom
Sleep well at night in the double bedroom which has a large window, with electric blind, that overlooks a small terrace. A large wardrobe provides plenty of storage space and there is additional space in the basement for long-stay guests.

The chic contemporary bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower as well as a bathroom cabinet for storage and plenty of shelving.

Location
The apartment is located to the north west of Ljubljana, on the outskirts of the city. You have everything you need at your fingertips, with a grocery store and post office close by and a supermarket around 6 minutes away. Getting in to the city by car is easy – a 15 minute drive takes you right into the city center. However, with the city’s main ring road just 2 minutes away, it’s actually easy to get to any part of the city.
Once you’re in the city center, you’ll find plenty to fill your days, in the form of galleries, architecture and the city’s iconic Castle. Alternatively, enjoy just strolling leisurely through the city, admiring its magnificent architecture or sit and watch the world go by from a table at an outdoor café.

Take time out to visit the Central Market and wander along the river, crisscrossing it via the many bridges, the most famous of which are the art nouveau Dragon Bridge and Cobblers Bridge in the center of the Old Town. Given the city’s reputation for being extremely cycle-friendly, you may even want to hire a bike to explore.
For outdoor activity enthusiasts, the closest hiking point is at Toško Čelo, just 5km from the apartment. This is a great place for some amazing views and perhaps even lunch at the Gostlina Bitenc restaurant.

Alternatively, Lake Bled, with a visit to Bled Castle, is well worth a trip and is an easy 50km drive from the apartment. Other highlights for nature lovers include Kranjska Gora, close to the Italian border and the gateway to the Julian Alps. Here, there’s an easy, car-free cycle path that crosses into Italy and, of course, some wonderful hiking.
Lastly, you may be interested in a visit to the world’s largest cave castle, Predjama Castle, and nearby, the 24kmlong Postojna Cave, both around an hour south of Ljubljana.
