Full Story
Simple but stylish, the brand new apartment has a pleasant, contemporary feel with hardwood flooring and an unfussy backdrop palette of white, grey and black. Filled with light thanks to the large windows in the bedroom and living room, the apartment enjoys cool breezes in the summer but is also air-conditioned for the hottest summer days.
Situated on the first floor of a new building, the apartment has a double bedroom, contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower, and an open plan living room with fully equipped kitchen corner. General amenities include one parking space in the garage below, elevator access and Wi-fi.
Furnished balcony with views over the train station
Having outdoor space is a welcome addition to any property. Overlooking the train station, and accessed via the living room, the balcony provides extra living space that is protected from chill winds by semi-retractable glass panels, so can be enjoyed beyond the summer months. With a bistro-style café table and chairs, the balcony is a pleasant spot for your morning coffee or light lunch.
In fact, even on cooler days when you might prefer to be indoors, there’s the option of simply opening the French windows to let the fresh air and breeze into the living room. In keeping with the overall high quality finishes, all the windows in the apartment have electric blinds.

The living room is straight ahead of you as you enter the flat, filled with light from the double doors that lead out to the balcony at the far end of the room. Elegantly furnished with hardwood flooring partially covered by a rug, the room features a long sofa that converts to a sofa bed and a large flat screen TV set on an attractive wooden cabinet. The open plan layout incorporates a dining and kitchen area.

Kitchen and Dining Area
Set in a corner of the living space, the gleaming white kitchen corner features matt surface finishes, with a sink, hob, oven and fridge. You’ll also find crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, a coffee machine and a dishwasher, in addition to storage space for groceries.
The kitchen proves that size isn’t everything! It has all that you need, and more.
One of the perks of self-catering, apart from the obvious benefit of additional space compared to a hotel room, is the freedom to eat in when you choose. The apartment has a dining table for four in the open plan living space, so you can relax over a leisurely breakfast or whip up an easy supper to eat in the comfort of your own apartment when you feel like it.

Bedroom
Adjacent to the living room and sharing the same views, the bedroom is a haven of tranquility. These windows, together with those in the living room, all have electric blinds.

The washer-dryer is great for longer stays, saving a trip to the laundromat!
On the wall above the washer-dryer you’ll find ample space to store your toiletry items.
Super central location
The apartment is superbly located, just a stone’s throw from the main train station and around 15 minutes on foot from the city’s historic center. If you’re arriving from other international destinations by rail, you’ll love the convenience of its proximity to the station.
When it comes to everyday needs, you’ll find everything at your fingertips, from grocery stores to pharmacies. In fact, there’s even a grocery store on the ground floor of the building! With the apartment being so close to the center of town, you’ll also be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants. Brunch at nearby EK Bistro is a popular way to fuel up before a day of sightseeing while the tasting menu at JB Restaurant provides a truly memorable dining experience.
Dragon Bridge in Ljubljana Old Town
Getting to the old city for a spot of sightseeing is easy. Start at the iconic Ljubljana Castle before wandering through the city to take in the familiar sights of Dragon Bridge and Cobblers Bridge. For the best views of Ljubljana, head skywards to the observation deck of the Skyscraper. But Ljubljana is very much a city for leisurely strolling, for wandering along the river and admiring the architecture. Take time also to pause at a pavement café or to stop by Central Market to pick up a couple of food items.
The city is also big on fresh air and open space. Head to nearby Tivoli Park, Ljubljana’s largest and most beautiful park, with ornamental flower beds, statues, fountains and chestnut tree lined walks. From here, several walking paths connect to the slopes of the Rožnik hill, a popular spot for joggers.
