Luxurious Ljubljana Apartment with Sauna

This is a recently renovated apartment, carefully designed by a prestigious, award-winning
architectural studio from Trieste.  The apartment owners are Australian but Slovenian heritage.

Located inside an impressive, prestigious historic building in an upmarket area of Ljubljana’s old town, the apartment is a mixture between cozy comfort and elegant luxury and all its interior has been custom made.

It is one of Ljubljana’s most sought after locations because of its big, airy apartments with high ceilings, wide staircases and big windows, giving the interior a spacious, roomy and bright feel, while the private balconies give it that little extra touch.  It is perfect for both short and mid-term stays.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor which means you are sheltered from any noise coming from the city, and can enjoy some spectacular views!  The wide staircase leading up from the entrance are clean and well maintained, and we’re always happy to help you with your luggage.

The apartment is surrounded by historic buildings and other famous places such as the Ljubljana Skyscraper, Opera House, Tivoli Park, the National and Modern Gallery, Congress Square and Prešeren Square, as well as many shops, cafes, restaurants.  Several of them are located just around the corner from Beethovnova Street where the apartment is located!  We suggest you try Operna klet (Opera’s cellar) which is famous for its seafood dishes, or stop off in one of the cafes for a coffee.

While the apartment doesn’t provide private parking, there are many parking options available in the vicinity.

As you walk in the door the first thing you will notice is that the apartment is very bright and
spacious.

The entrance opens into the main living area with 2 single-seater Alvar Aalto’s classic Zebra-print upholstery 400 Tank lounge chairs and a modular sofa that can be rearranged and adjusted in many different ways, shapes and forms.  Come night time, it can be turned into a comfortable queen size bed or two separate singles.

The apartment can sleep up to 4 people (plus baby) and is equally suitable for the business person travelling alone, as for two couples coming to explore the sights and sounds of Ljubljana.

At the end of this hall you come to the amazing modern bathroom: this is connected to the bedroom through another door, and gives access to the Finnish sauna and a balcony.

Did I mention that the apartment is very bright?  Electric blinds can be drawn over the huge windows for the perfect night’s sleep.  There’s a laptop friendly workspace and tons of storage space in the bedroom.  A baby cot is also available.

From the bedroom you can access the living area via a sliding glass wall.

Along the entire length of the apartment there is another balcony facing Beethovnova Street, which can be entered from the kitchen, living room and bedroom.

There are Rex chairs with cushions for the balcony, so you can enjoy Ljubljana from above.

The kitchen is fully-fitted and makes cooking a true pleasure.  You will find everything you would ever want in your home.

Well equipped with a gas stovetop (with 1 electric plate), an oven, a huge fridge-freezer with ice cube maker, a dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and a stick blender are some of the appliances provided and of course there are more than enough dishes and pans to prepare an entire feast.
