Anyone looking for a unique place to stay right in the center of Ljubljana will find a great option here. With flexible sleeping arrangements for up to five people, two balconies, a pleasant garden seating area, and it offers all the best qualities of urban life in Ljubljana’s green center.
As an added bonus, artwork and décor created by the host and her family and friends gives the place a very special feeling that you won’t forget. I warmly invite you to make this your home base in Ljubljana.
If you’re driving to Ljubljana it will be a simple matter to pull right into this neighborhood (adjacent to Prešeren Street) and park right next to the building. It’s also conveniently located near several bus stops if you’re using public transport.
Our greeter will be there to show you where to park and go into the building with you, offering you any assistance you may need. There’s an elevator in the building, which is great if you’ve got heavy luggage, or just prefer to take a lift instead of walking to the 3rd floor.
The wide hallway leads straight to the dine-in kitchen with doors to a small bedroom and the bathroom to the right. To the left is the living room with the the master bedroom, and another large room. There is a lot of light everywhere in this apartment thanks to the large windows on both sides, so even the hallway has plenty of natural light.
This is a comfortable place to sit and chat, perhaps check your email on your laptop (using the wifi), catch the news on TV, or watch a video. The sofa can also be made up into a comfortable bed for one if you’re traveling with a large group.
“Cozy and bright”
This room comes off the living room and has a sliding door for privacy. The balcony along the full length of the room offers plenty of fresh air and a clear view to the courtyard below. Your host has selected a soothing palette of colors for the artwork in this room to promote rest and sleep. Light-blocking blinds will ensure a restful, quiet night.
“Playful and full of personality”
Although it is no longer in use, the fireplace still gives this room extra character. The twin beds serve as comfortable seating during the day and a place for two to sleep at night. I think the sculptures and paintings by the host and others really brighten up this space and bring it to life.
“A touch of Parisian flair in Ljubljana”
You can be forgiven if you suddenly wonder if you’re in Paris when you step out onto this balcony. The cozy wicker furniture will make you want to linger over your croissant and tea and enjoy the fresh morning air. There are adjustable shades to keep the sun from being too intense on warmer days, too.
The custom furniture in the kitchen makes for an exceptional feeling of space while still letting you have everything at your fingertips. The island has seating for two but there is also room for five or six at the table without crowding. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need: a collection of unique ceramics, quality cookware, a fridge, and a dishwasher.
Whether you’re just preparing a quick snack or cooking a full meal, this kitchen is an airy, convenient place to do it.
“Roomy and bright”
There is plenty of space and fluffy towels for freshening up in this large bathroom, in addition to a washing machine and laundry detergent.
This place offers comfort for a variety of people and groups with its central location, flexible sleeping arrangements, and spacious living and dining areas, as well as welcome contact with the outdoors with the balconies and private garden.
We hope you will choose to stay here and we’re sure you’ll be glad you did!
